Email #11 – Lobby Stairs, Before & Now

Attached are two of the first floor Lobby Stairs taken March 5 and July 26, 2006. The walls around the stairs just came down yesterday, so the Fish Bowl room between the stairs has disappeared.

The 1909 steel stairs will be retained in the new building. I wonder if we'll get another 100 years out of them? We'll just have to wait and see.
