Email #12 – First Floor Demolition

Here are three more photos showing the lobby area on July 25 and 26.

Note in the upper photo the plaster ceiling and lamps are still there. The next day: gone.

I especially like the middle photo because it shows 4 of the 8 interior columns that were encased with concrete (unlike the bare steel interior columns in the wings). The other 4 "concrete" columns are arranged symmetrically out of view to the left.

The bottom photo shows the beloved Fishbowl room without its ceiling and walls.
