Email #13 - Bare Naked Stairs

In the many years - indeed decades - that architecture students pinned drawings on the west wall of Review Rm. 202, whoever thought about what was behind that wall?

I NEVER did, until now: It's bare naked stairs!

The top picture was taken July 25 looking south in Rm. 202 when the pin-up wall was still there. The next day it was gone and the attic stairs were revealed.

Does anyone know if these stairs were added in the 1980's renovation? The steel looks a lot newer than the steel of the 1909 grand staircase.
