Email #37 - Blue Fades to Gray

Right now there is a truly mystical quality to the light and colors on the top floor of the South Wing. The attached photos represent that quality quite accurately, at least on my monitor.

On the south and east walls both the "scratch" and "finish" coats of shotcrete have been applied, and the scaffolding has been removed. These are the finished walls of the studios, except the color is expected to fade from blue to neutral gray as the shotcrete continues to cure. Too bad. I like the blue (blue-green?). What a nice color for a concrete finish! I hope they're wrong about it fading to gray.
