Email #50 - Ironworker in Exhibit Space The only truly new space in the renovated Architecture Hall will be the 2nd floor Exhibition/Review Space now being constructed above the former restrooms and staircase landing. This new space was officially "born yesterday" (Dec. 6) when they installed the floor decking, as shown in the attached photo. The view is looking NW. This is structural "cellular" decking, unlike regular sheet metal decking. The cellular decking has a solid steel plate connecting the "grooves," as you can see in the small cut pieces on the deck. The underside of the cellular decking can be seen by looking at the ceiling in this photo, where exactly the same cellular decking was installed earlier. John Stamets See also #51 and #89
