Email #52 - Behold: A Skylight!

As can be seen in the attached photo, one of the historic skylights at the center of the building has been reopened and will provide daylight to the new coffee shop seating area.

However, the lighting will not be as dramatic as this photo suggests. The bright light skimming the floor is not coming from the skylight above, but directly from the low winter sun through a hole in the building. This is illustrated with yellow in the bottom photo.
