Email #86 - Auditorium Sans Scaffolding

The platform scaffolding in the auditorium was removed over the weekend. These photos were taken today, the first full workday without the scaffolding.

Note the three plywood panels on the back west wall. These are covering the historic windows that were going to be re-opened. However, for cost savings, that is not going to happen.

I might not send anymore photos for a while because my busy teaching schedule starts tomorrow. Also, as a building approaches finish, I typically lose interest and walk away. With a target "substantial completion" date of July 13, I would probably take my last serious photos around April 30, and then just a few after that. Of course I have TONS of photos you've never seen and I look forward to sorting and editing those for an exhibition next fall.
