Email #bb – SE Basement Studio in March & May

Here are two views of the studio in the SE corner of the basement (aka “Ground Floor”) from approximately the same position.

The top view shows the Architecture 301 studio taught by Oshima & Pagenknopf in Winter Quarter 2006. The bottom view was taken in late May from approximately the same position.

I'm shooting these with a digital SLR Nikon D200. This is the first time I've ever shot a project in digital. The previous two images (email #aa) were taken on b&w 4x5" film.

Shooting digital is interesting because you can shoot so much, so quickly. But the format is limiting for architecture because of the lack of perspective control.

Who can remember the room number of this room?
