In Memoriam: George C. Oistad, Jr.
Sunday December 2008George Carl Oistad, Jr. died December 28, 2008, after a brief battle with lymphoma. He was born in Everett on August 30, 1939. He graduating from UW (BArch ’63) he received his graduate degree from the Harvard University School of Design. He was married to Georgia Oistad. Oistad was a partner in TRA Architecture, Engineering, Planning and Interiors. He designed projects in the U.S., Europe, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Iran, China and the Pacific Rim. He was generous in his design work for non-profit organizations including his church.
