The Runstad Center for Real Estate Studies (UWRC) is the focal point for UW real estate activities addressing the missions of teaching, research, and engagement. Because real estate is a complex field with a variety of specialized areas of expertise influencing decision-making processes, the UWRC pursues its missions in the interdisciplinary environment of the BE and the University, drawing upon allied fields including planning, architecture, construction, law, geography, marketing, finance and public affairs. The BE has developed a Master of Science degree program in real estate (MSRE); this degree program launched in 2009.
