Cleaning the Contex Wide Format Scanner
1. If you are getting streaks in your scans on the wide format scanner, it may need to be cleaned.
2. Open the access cover, then pull both the height adjusters towards the center and pull up removing the carriage.
3. Carefully place the carriage back down on the feed platform (inverted). Now use the supplied cleaning solution to remove dirt from both the scanning glass and the carriage. Note: You may also need to clean the rollers.
4. Carefully place the carriage back over the scanning glass. To lock the carriage back into place, press the silver button (near the height adjustment) down and slide the height adjustment back to its proper setting (both sides). Close the access cover.
