Community, Environment and Planning Program The accredited Master of Urban Planning (MUP) degree Program is for those who want the traditional professional degree. General and specialized training in a number of areas is available through this two year program. Interdisciplinary PhD Program in Urban Design & Planning In addition, a program of study may be developed to enable a student to work toward two Master's degrees, combining the Master of Architecture and Master of Urban Planning, or the Master of Landscape Architecture and Master of Urban Planning. Concurrent degrees are also possible with the JD degree in the School of Law and Master of Urban Planning. Studies in public administration may take place in the Graduate School of Public Affairs, in transportation with Civil Engineering's program, and in marine and environmental resource areas within appropriate programs on campus. For those seeking a short-term affiliation with a program in the Department of Urban Design and Planning, programs such as Visiting Graduate Student and Non-Matriculated Student should be explored. |
