REUW: The Interdisciplinary School of Thought

Welcome to the 2008-2009 Academic Year

Welcome to the Runstad Center for Real Estate Studies. We are based in the College of Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Washington. This is an exciting time as we prepare for the upcoming academic year and the expansion of our offerings.

We would like to welcome our visitors to our website which is designed as a resource for students and the broader real estate community. Please take advantage of the many links we have compiled on our site. We call your special attention to our wide array of Real Estate Links which reflect our vision of the nature and scope of the discipline. Key Announcements: MSRE 2009 and Current Faculty Searches

In Fall 2009, the University of Washington will offer new two-year Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) Program. We are finalizing information regarding the program and timetable and will be posting that by mid-September 2008. Briefly, the application deadline for International Applicants will be November 1, 2008, while the deadline for U.S. applications will be February 1, 2009. In light of the interdisicplinary nature of our program and applicants, we will be accepting either the GRE or the GMAT. In general, admissions will follow the standard Application for Graduate Study at the UW guidelines. We will be posting information later this month on how to apply for admission to the MSRE.

To prepare for our new program, and to strengthen our current Specialization in Real Estate, we are currently seeking to hire two faculty members to complement our current staffing.
