Degrees and Programs in Real Estate

New MSRE Builds on Real Estate Specialization

We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to the Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) program which launches in Fall 2009. We are accepting applications for this program as well as for our existing Specialization in Real Estate. The MSRE is a two-year professional degree which provides students with the core and advanced training necessary for successful careers and leadership positions in the real estate industry. The primary objective of the MSRE is to help students develop the skills and perspectives necessary to create sustainable careers and assume leadership positions. A secondary objective is to prepare students to help lead the discipline in collaborating with other fields to address the complex problems associated with achieving sustainable solutions that find the appropriate balance between the needs of current and future generations.

In addition to the MSRE, we offer a Real Estate Specialization. In general, the curriculum of study for the Real Estate Concentration is designed to provide students with a fundamental understanding of real estate to complement their core areas of focus and prepare them for real estate-related career paths. The commingling of students in the MSRE and Real Estate Concentration helps enhance the interdisciplinary learning experience as students are exposed to best practices in related disciplines as well as to the values and mindsets other professionals bring to the table when approaching real estate-related decisions.
